Signs and Symptoms of Alcohol Abuse
Alcoholism is sometimes also referred to as alcohol dependence or alcohol addiction. A person who is dependent on alcohol is unable to stop drinking. They can no longer help themselves. The physical and psychological consequences of this can become severe as the person slips further and further into the black hole of alcoholism.
A common symptom of alcohol abuse is binge drinking. This is when a person stops drinking for a period of time and then consumes a tremendous amount of alcohol in a short span of time, such as over a weekend or throughout a period of three to four days.
The abuse of alcohol can affect every facet of your life. Let us look at some signs and symptoms of the disease:

-Getting annoyed, frustrated and angry when others make comments about your drinking habits.
-Feeling guilty after consuming alcohol.
-Drinking by yourself and sneaking a drink whenever you can.
-Making sure that all of your recreational activities include alcohol.
-Planning your day around your next drink.
